An opportunity for educational leadership by supporting educational excellence in Centre USD 397 Schools.
The Centre Education Foundation was founded January, 2005 to receive and administer gifts that will enhance education in USD 397. The Foundation provides an avenue for citizens, businesses and organizations to contribute financially to the school district. Its Board of Trustees meets to grant awards and decide future direction of the Foundation. The Foundation works to maintain educational excellence in Centre USD #397 Schools. The Foundation's purpose is to enhance the basic public support of the educational programs and goals of the Centre Unified School District for the benefit of students.
The Foundation seeks partnership with those who wish to support its funds, general endowment or donations for specific projects of the donor's choice, which meet standards set by the Board of Trustees and are not discriminatory. Please contact one of the Foundation's Board members or the USD #397 Board of Education Office if you would like to discuss specific projects or would like to include the Foundation in your estate planning.
The Foundation has identified possible areas of the school district to support for which it is soliciting contributions. Student Opportunities, Teacher/Staff Opportunities, Teaching Resources Supplement, Endowment, and Special Projects. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
