About Your Counselor

      Mallory Jacobs

I grew up in Holton, Kansas, born into a long line of Kansas State University Wildcats.  My family bleeds purple.  I have two older brothers, two sister-in-laws, and a darling newborn niece.  I graduated from KSU in May with a Masters in Counseling and Student Development.  In the past two years, I subbed in Manhattan in a variety of grade levels and worked in the College of Education office for the Council for Public School Improvement.  During six summers, I was employed as a lifeguard for Manhattan City pools and pool manager for five years.  I am looking forward to working with students, parents, staff, and the community at USD 397.  Go Cougars!
