Centre FFA has some major success from several CDEs that they attended during the Fall Semester. In October the Centre FFA Officer Team competed in Ritual Contest and made finals and placed 4th as Team. During the Dairy Cattle Evaluation CDE Dillon Knepp placed 4th overall. At the District Ag Sales Contest the Senior Team Placed 2nd Overall with 2 individuals placing in the top 10. In the Employability Skills LDE Centre had Cailey Barney make finals and placed 5th overall! Way to go Cougars! Centre FFA is ready for the Spring Semester!!!

HIgh School Athletes are not allowed to use the school facilities for conditioning, weight lifting, shooting or anything related to the upcoming seasons outside of the normal school day. Centre School will be dismissed at 2:30 on Tuesday, October 22nd. We will be hosting the regional volleyball tournament at Centre on that day. Games will be starting at 3:00.
Seniors are you 18? If so, do not forget to register to vote. Voter Registration Deadline is October 15th. To register online go to vote.org/state/kansas it only takes a couple of minutes to register.

Homecoming festivities information: This Friday, Centre will crown the 2019 Homecoming King and Queen prior to the start of the football game. Crowing Ceremony will take place at 6:45 pm at Bud Peterson Field! Then warm up with some chili or chicken noodle soup!
