Sorry for the reschedule, again. The JH boys basketball parent meeting that was scheduled for this evening is moved to this Thursday, October 24, at 5:30 p.m. Please meet in the commons.

Good Luck to our HS Girls on Tuesday as they compete in Regionals at Beloit!

Our junior high girls volleyball team is the 3 seed and scheduled to play at noon on Saturday in the Wheat State League Tournament against 6 seed Solomon. The tournament is in Solomon, and if we win we will play again at 1 and also at 2. Good luck ladies and coaches!

Everyone is invited to come out and support our Centre and Herington combined football team tonight as they take on Peabody/Burns at 6:00 PM on the Centre field. Tonight is also Parent's Night so we will recognize all of our 8th grade participants at 5:45 before the kickoff. The team is undefeated this season so let's pack the stands to cheer them on. Because of the ongoing construction, please enter through the east gate.

Congratulations to Anna Godinez-Vinduska, Grayson Best, and Hayden Dobbs who recently participated in the Emporia State University Mathematics Day Competition. The Centre team earned a 3rd place plaque and individual bronze metals in the Math Scramble. In the individual geometry competition, Anna placed 2nd and Grayson placed 3rd! Awesome work Cougar mathematicians! Angela Basore sponsors the math team. Awesome job team!!

A win for our high school girls on senior night in 5! A big thank you to our seniors! Also Olivia Carlson achieved 1,000 digs in her high school career! Congrats to everyone on a great night!

Tuesday is the last home volleyball game for the season. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink.

Good evening everyone! Centre FFA has been quite busy the last two days. Yesterday we held our annual Ag Awareness Day where we had 7 different stations where FFA members shared about different animals, welding, and farming equipment. We had daycare all the way through 5th grade students participate in the event! We were so happy to get to work with the younger kids in our school!
Today we had the pleasure of having State Trooper Ben come and visit with our JH and High school students about automobile accidents and then did a seat belt convincer activity with our high school students. Thank you again to State Trooper Ben for coming and talking with our members as part of our Safe Driving Week at Centre!

Centre's Kansas Online Learning Program teacher Dee Siruta spoke with her student Deysi about her Halloween plans. “We talked about Halloween and she said she was going to be a dinosaur and her favorite candy is Hershey's and Kit Kat. She plans to go trick or treating with her friends and at least get a half of bag of candy!”

Just a reminder that school pictures are tomorrow, Friday, October 11th at Centre Schools. This includes Cougar Cubs Daycare and all Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students, faculty, and staff.
