The pre-k through 5th grade concert that was scheduled for tomorrow, April 11th, 2022, has been postponed.
Because of a threat made against Marion County Schools, the decision has been made to cancel school for today. All activities will be canceled as well for the day. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Centre School will have an early release day tomorrow, Wednesday April 6th. School will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. This is a scheduled staff development day.
This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29th we will have our spring pictures and our class pictures. Please make sure that you send the order forms and payment to school with your students tomorrow.
There is a special board meeting in the band room on March 28th, 2022, at 6:00 pm.
Good morning. This is Larry Geist Superintendent of schools. Because of weather conditions there will be no school at Centre today and the FFA auction will be postponed to a later date.

Tomorrow is our music contest!!! Yippee!!! Please have students dressed in their black pants and white shirt at the school by 7:45am. They need time to grab their instruments and music before getting on the bus. We plan to leave at 8:00am.

This is Larry Geist, Superintendent for Centre Schools. I wanted to remind parents and guardians of the 1:00 PM early release for all Centre Schools tomorrow, Friday March 4th. This is one hour earlier than is published on our school calendar so I wanted to be sure everyone new of the change. We will use the extra hour to review the district crisis plan while giving teachers time to finish their grades for the 3rd quarter. Thank you and have a great evening.
Good evening. This is Larry Geist with information pertaining to wearing masks while riding in district transportation. The C D C recently reversed the mandate that anyone riding public transportation must wear a mask. Beginning tomorrow morning, Wednesday March 2nd, students riding in district transportation will no longer be required to wear a mask while riding. Students are welcome to continue to wear masks if their parents so choose. Also, just a reminder student's will be dismissed at 1:00 PM this Friday March 4th. Thank you and have a great evening.
