CHS hosting golf tournament fundraiser!

Prom will be this Saturday, April 24th, at the Lincolnville Community Building. Promenade will begin at 5:00 PM. Students participating in promenade will enter on Main Street, turn on Newton Street, and then turn right on 6th Street. Family and friends are more than welcome to come watch! After your attendee goes through the lane, the valets or parents will drive their vehicle to the school. After the dance, the attendees will be shuttled to the school, where they will change clothes for After Prom. Boys with a tux need to give them to Jennifer Hett. Then the attendees will attend After Prom, which is located in Salina.

Individual and classroom school pictures were handed out today to Preschool thru 12th grades. Please check your child's backpack for pictures.

Due to inclement weather, school is canceled today for Centre. 04/20/2021

SAVE THE DATE: THE ARTFUL EYE SHOW The Artful Eye Show is happening on Friday, May 7th at 7:00 PM in the north gymnasium at Centre School. Parents of students in grades 3, 4, and 5 should expect to receive a personal invitation soon. Please mark this down on your calendars, as it is always exciting to see what Pat and Jess help our students to create!

The track meet scheduled for Tuesday 04/20/2022 has been rescheduled for tomorrow, 04/19/2021, at Halstead due to weather.

Dear Parents, Please fill out the survey using the link below if you would be interested in your child receiving the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. This vaccine is the only one available for ages 16 and up at this time. If you are not interested in your child receiving the vaccine, you do not need to complete the survey. We do not yet know when our county will have availability to provide this vaccine at our school, but we anticipate sharing that information with you as soon as we know. Yesterday Elias Jirak competed in a varsity golf meet at the Salina Municipal Golf Course. He placed 17th with a score of 91. Good job Elias!

It must be the real photo. - make sure it is school appropriate - no hunting rifles or anything that cannot be shared at school

Yesterday the JV boys golf team participated in a scramble at Herington. Sam Woods and Matt Basore combined for a score of 52, good for 4th place!

Members of the Centre Board of Education will discuss the Covid-19 mask mandate on Monday night at the regularly scheduled board meeting. For the board to create a policy best-representing community views, board members are seeking your input. The survey will be on our website and Facebook page. Please complete and submit the survey by 12:00 pm on Monday, April 12th, 2021.

There will be a special board meeting on Friday, April 9th, 2021. The agenda is attached below.

Centre School will have an early release day on Wednesday, April 7th. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. This is a scheduled professional development day.

There will be no school at Centre USD 397 on Friday, April 2nd or on Monday, April 5th. Enjoy your four day weekend and we will see you back at school on Tuesday, April 6th.

School pictures are coming up on Thursday, April 1st. We will begin taking photos at 8:30 AM. Students were sent home with two photo packets that were stapled together. The first one is for individual photos, and the second one is for a class photo. If you choose to purchase both, please send back both packets with payment included. You may write one check, but please staple it and both forms together to insure that you get both items. We will be taking photos of each individual class, even seniors.
