Just a reminder the Centre P-12 spring concert in tomorrow night (Friday) with the P-5 students performing at 6:30 and the 6-12 students starting 10 minutes after the elementary concert concludes, approximately 7:15. Elementary students will be released to their parents after their concert and parents are welcome to stay for the remainder of the concert or leave at that time. Both concerts will be held in the main gym.

Earth Week celebrations at Centre Schools have been exciting! Tonight we appear on KSN-W News at 5:00 and 6:00! (Channel 3) Tune In! Lisa Teachman, Chief Meteorologist, visited us today and shared her experiences of storm chasing, visited about our weather patterns, and most importantly taught our students how to stay safe during severe weather!

Because of a threat made against Marion County Schools, the decision has been made to cancel school for today. All activities will be canceled as well for the day. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
The regularly scheduled board meeting is on April 11th, 2022, at 5:30 pm in the Library.
Centre School will have an early release day tomorrow, Wednesday April 6th. School will be dismissed at 1:00 PM. This is a scheduled staff development day.

Tomorrow is our music contest!!! Yippee!!! Please have students dressed in their black pants and white shirt at the school by 7:45am. They need time to grab their instruments and music before getting on the bus. We plan to leave at 8:00am.

This is Larry Geist, Superintendent for Centre Schools. I wanted to remind parents and guardians of the 1:00 PM early release for all Centre Schools tomorrow, Friday March 4th. This is one hour earlier than is published on our school calendar so I wanted to be sure everyone new of the change. We will use the extra hour to review the district crisis plan while giving teachers time to finish their grades for the 3rd quarter. Thank you and have a great evening.
