Congratulations to the Centre Cheer Team on winning several awards at the Cheer Clinic in ElDorado over the last several days. The squad came home with awards for the Best Camp Routine and the Most Improved squad at the clinic along with earning the spirit stick and two blue ribbons for excellence in their performance. Seniors Addie Makovic and Jenaya Plett also both earned All-American Honors by competing solo in several areas. The team is coached by Katelyn Hageman. Congratulations to all the Centre Cheer Team!
JH Boys Basketball will have a scrimmage on Monday June 12 at Canton at 5:00 PM. There will be a vehicle available for transportation leaving the school at 3:50 PM. If you have questions please email Coach Raymer at draymer@usd397.com.

Just wanted to invite all of you to POOL PARTY at the Hillsboro Aquatic Center on Friday evening, June 16th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be FREE admission to families and parents can enjoy swimming, water safety instruction, and door prizes! Summer Workouts begin tomorrow! Starting tomorrow we will have weights in the morning from 6:30-8:00 AM on M, T, W, Th, F. We will have evening weights from 6:30-8:00 PM on M, W, F. We look forward to seeing our athletes in the weight room! Also attached is the Summer Workout Schedule. Please contact coaches via email for any schedule changes.

Centre USD #397 is seeking sealed bids on a building project on their campus at 2374 310th Street, Lost Springs Kansas.
Congratulations to Centre's Katie Bina on qualifying for the State Track Meet next weekend in the 800 and the 1600 meter runs. Katie is one of three Centre athletes who qualified for state competition this year in three different categories, diving, golf, and track. Gotta be awfully proud to be a Centre Cougar!!
Congratulations to the Centre Class of 2023 on your graduation this afternoon. This year, 9 seniors and 11 students from the Kansas Online Learning Program were awarded their diplomas. We also want to congratulate the 52 students who did not attend graduation today that also graduated from the Kansas Online Learning Program at Centre. God has given you all a gift, what you do with it is how you pay Him back.
Centre's Olivia Carlson finished 5th in the KSHSAA State Diving Championships held last Thursday and today in Topeka. Olivia competed in the 1-5A division as the only 1A diver in the competition. Olivia moved up from 6th place in the preliminaries to capture the 5th place medal. All other competitors attend 5A schools in Kansas. Congratulations Olivia on a terrific performance!

UPDATE ON STATE DIVING: Olivia is currently in 6th place and will dive again Saturday at 4:30 with her best three dives left to perform. Keep up the good work Olivia and good luck Saturday!
Congratulations to Centre's Anthony Potocnik for placing 18th at the regional golf tournament held in Centralia last week and qualifying for State Golf being held May 22-23 at the Emporia Country Club. Good Luck next week at State Anthony!
