Driver's Ed fees are due by February 15th for all Centre students who wish to take driver's ed this summer. The cost is $102.00 and must be paid in cash. No checks or cards will be taken. Please send payment to the school office.

Chiefs Spirit Week

Congratulations to the Centre High School Scholar Bowl team on placing fourth at the Regional Scholar Bowl Tournament held at St. John's in Beloit today. The team narrowly missed going to State for the second year in a row. The team is coached by Angela Bashor and Tanna Riffle. Great job team and coaches.
Congratulations to the Centre JH Boys team on a hard-fought game tonight against Peabody. The guys played hard and led at halftime before their shooting turned cold on them and they lost by five. Good season JH Basketball teams. Now on to track season!

Congratulations Julia, Jorja, Bradley and Anthony for being selected to represent CHS! Homecoming coronation will take place Friday, following basketball vs. Peabody-Burns.

The HS basketball games at Wichita and HS Scholar's Bowl at Junction City that were scheduled for tonight have been postponed until a later date.
Our 3-8 grade students participated in a schoolwide spelling bee last week to determine who goes on to the Marion County Spelling Bee Wednesday, February 15th at Peabody. Our elementary participants are, Zoey Svoboda - 5th grade, Konnor Nickel - 3rd grade, and Alternate - Vada Cobb - 4th grade.
Our JH participants are, Judah Richard - 7th grade, Adyson Wilson - 6th grade, and , Alternate - Samuel Rziha - 8th grade. Congratulations to the winners and good luck at the county spelling bee!
