Congratulations, USD 397 has been assigned a Meets Requirements level of determination (LOD) through the IDEA State Performance Plan Report for FFY 2020. “Meets Requirements” is the highest status level for district IDEA level of determination. The district earned this LOD by meeting substantial compliance on all compliance State Performance Plan (SPP) district-level indicators, including the timely submission of accurate data. PARENT EDUCATOR/HOME VISITOR
Marion County Parents as Teachers has a part-time position open for a parent educator.
Preference for bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or
related field. The position requires a minimum of 60 hours of college credit in an early childhood related field. Looking for a self-directed, motivated individual with excellent communication
and organizational skills; ability to relate to a diverse group of parents; experience in
child rearing and/or working with infants through preschool age children;
and knowledge of and connections to county resources.
Approximately 25 hours per week, flexible schedule, working some evenings and weekends. Parents As Teachers is a parent education/home visitor program for children birth to 3, and their families.
Services will be countywide. Salary range commensurate with degree and experience.
MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND WEEK LONG VIRTUAL PAT TRAINING IN JULY.

Because of wet track conditions today, Record Breaking Day has been moved to Monday, May 16th at 12:30. Field Day will go on as planned today starting at 1:00 .

The High School Wheat State League Track meet is today in Goessel. It begins at 3:00 PM. The cost to get into the track meet is $2.00 per adult and $1.00 per student.
